Job summary

Hanford Tank Waste Operations & Closure (H2C) is seeking a Procurement Operations Liaison to support Direct Feed Low Activity Waste (DFLAW). You will coordinate procurement cycles, forecast needs, and liaise between field teams and Acquisition Management to ensure timely, cost-effective deliveries.

Responsibilities include stakeholder engagement, schedule alignment with project controls, and driving procurement process improvements.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Business, Finance, Supply Chain, or related discipline.
• Four years of relevant experience (Grade 16) or five years (Grade 17) or seven years (Grade 18).
• Desirable: FAR knowledge and NCMA/ISM certification.
• Experience coordinating procurement cycles with internal teams and external suppliers.

Responsibilities

• Serve as a liaison between Procurement and field teams to ensure procurement cycles run smoothly.
• Build and maintain relationships with internal organizations to support satisfaction and collaboration.
• Own forecasting for the assigned area and coordinate schedule adherence with project controls.
• Lead or participate in meetings to report procurement status and performance metrics.
• Identify procurement improvements to drive efficiency and cost reductions.
