Job summary

Roskam Foods is seeking an experienced procurement leader to design and drive strategic sourcing across raw materials, packaging, and indirect goods. You will partner with R&D, Quality, Operations, and Finance to optimize quality, cost, and delivery while ensuring regulatory compliance and ethical sourcing.

The role requires 7+ years in procurement, 2+ years in leadership, and strong negotiation and analytics skills.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Business, or related field.
7–10+ years procurement experience.
2+ years in a leadership role.
Strong negotiation, analytical, and communication skills.
ERP proficiency (e.g., SAP, Oracle, JD Edwards, MS AX) and MS Office.

Responsibilities

Design and execute strategic sourcing strategies for raw materials, packaging, and indirect goods.
Identify, evaluate, and manage supplier relationships to meet quality, cost, and delivery targets.
Analyze market trends, pricing, and risks to inform procurement leadership decisions.
Collaborate with R&D, Quality, Operations, and Finance to support product innovation and efficiency.
Manage supplier performance through KPIs, scorecards, and reviews.
Lead cost reduction and value improvement initiatives.
Ensure compliance with food safety regulations and company policies.
