Hub Labels in Hagerstown, MD is seeking a Strategic Procurement Manager to lead procurement, purchasing, inventory replenishment, and supplier management for manufacturing operations. You will develop purchasing strategies, manage supplier performance, negotiate terms, and collaborate with operations, sales, and finance to ensure material availability and cost efficiency.

The role requires strong analytics, leadership, and a track record in sourcing and inventory control in a manufacturing

Qualifications

Minimum of five years of purchasing, procurement, supply chain, or materials management experience.
Bachelor's or Associate degree in a related field preferred.
Experience in a manufacturing environment (printing/packaging) is a plus.
Strong analytical and communication skills.

Responsibilities

Plan, organize, direct, and oversee all purchasing and procurement activities.
Develop and implement strategies to support growth, efficiency, and profitability.
Ensure timely procurement of raw materials, packaging, supplies, and equipment.
Monitor inventory levels and purchasing trends to balance availability and costs.
Establish purchasing policies and ensure compliance with contracts and ethics.
Negotiate pricing, terms, contracts, and service agreements with suppliers.
Lead supplier reviews and corrective actions when needed.
Collaborate with Operations, Production, Sales, and Finance to support objectives.
Develop reports, KPIs, and continuous improvement initiatives.
