Job summary

Mace is seeking a Senior Procurement Leader in the United States (South Carolina region) to drive procurement strategy and category leadership across projects. You will oversee teams, manage supplier relationships, negotiate contracts, and influence senior stakeholders while delivering value and sustainable outcomes.

The role emphasizes due diligence, market understanding, and embedding procurement processes to support net zero commitments and project delivery.

Qualifications

• Degree in Procurement or related field.
• CIPS Level 5/6 or equivalent qualification.
• Extensive experience in procurement, category management, supplier relationship management, and commercial leadership.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintainsRelationship Management Expert.
• Leads teams to ensure principals, structures, tools and responsibilities are in place to deliver plans.
• Perform due diligence and market understanding.
• Drive value through processes, performance and commercial activity.
• Plan development and implementation including embedding, monitoring and delivering via others.
• Deliver objectives in challenging situations on time.
• Provide performance management, talent development and coaching.
• Develop and maintain internal and external relationships.
• Manage and influence senior stakeholders.
• Collaborate toward net zero carbon transition and manage related emissions during delivery.
