Job summary

Titan America's Roanoke Cement plant is seeking a Procurement Manager to lead strategy and execution for sourcing materials, equipment, and services, partnering with plant leadership to ensure reliability and cost efficiency.

The role oversees a small team, drives supplier performance, maintains SOX controls, and leverages SAP to optimize procure-to-pay processes while supporting safety and sustainability initiatives and corporate procurement alignment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain, Business, Engineering, or related field.
• 7+ years of procurement or supply chain experience in industrial manufacturing.
• Proven experience leading procurement teams in a plant or site-based environment.
• Strong negotiation and contract management experience with cost savings results.
• Experience working closely with maintenance, operations, and capital project teams.
• Proficiency in SAP or similar ERP systems.
• Familiarity with SOX compliance and procurement controls.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
• Ability to influence cross-functional stakeholders in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Lead all site-level procurement activities for cement manufacturing operations.
• Serve as the primary procurement partner to the Roanoke Cement Plant Manager, aligning sourcing strategies with plant priorities.
• Lead, coach, and develop a small team of 1-2 procurement professionals.
• Support Safety and Sustainability initiatives in the workplace.
• Support and execute sourcing strategies aligned with Titan America's procurement policies and TOC objectives.
• Manage supplier relationships, including sourcing, negotiation, contracting, and performance management.
• Partner with plant leadership, maintenance, and operations to forecast demand and plan purchases.
• Identify cost savings and cost avoidance initiatives, including category management and contract optimization.
• Ensure compliance with company policies, including SOX controls and procurement governance.
• Utilize SAP and other procurement systems to manage purchasing, reporting, and data integrity.
• Monitor market trends, pricing, and supply risks to adjust sourcing strategies.
• Collaborate across Titan America units to leverage scale and best practices.
• Drive continuous improvement in procurement processes, inventory management, and supplier performance.
