Job summary

Titan America is seeking a Procurement Manager to lead sourcing strategies for Roanoke Cement and its plant operations. You will direct a small team, work closely with plant leadership, and drive cost efficiency while ensuring continuous supply of critical materials.

The role requires 7+ years in industrial procurement, strong negotiation and SAP experience, and the ability to influence across cross-functional teams in a fast-paced manufacturing setting.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain, Business, Engineering, or related field.
• 7+ years of procurement or supply chain experience in industrial manufacturing.
• Proven experience leading procurement teams in plant/site environments.
• Strong negotiation and contract management with cost savings results.
• Experience with maintenance, operations, and capital projects.
• Proficiency in SAP or similar ERP systems.
• Familiarity with SOX compliance and procurement controls.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.

Responsibilities

• Lead site-level procurement activities to ensure uninterrupted supply of materials, spare parts, and services.
• Serve as primary procurement partner to the Plant Manager, aligning sourcing strategies with plant priorities.
• Lead and develop a small team of 1–2 procurement professionals.
• Actively support Safety and Sustainability initiatives in the workplace.
• Support sourcing strategies aligned with procurement policies and objectives.
• Manage supplier relationships including sourcing, contracting, and performance.
• Forecast demand, plan purchases, and support outages and capital projects.
• Identify cost savings and cost avoidance initiatives through category management.
• Ensure compliance with SOX controls and procurement governance.
• Utilize SAP and other procurement systems to manage purchasing processes.
• Monitor market trends, pricing, and supply risks to adjust sourcing strategies.
• Collaborate across Titan America’s business units to leverage scale.
• Drive continuous improvement in procurement processes.
