Job summary

Titan America seeks a Procurement Manager for Roanoke Cement to lead sourcing strategy, supplier management, and cost optimization at the plant. You will partner with plant leadership to ensure reliable material supply and operational continuity, while developing a small procurement team and ensuring governance and SOX compliance.

The role requires strong negotiation skills, SAP experience, and a hands-on, results-driven approach in heavy industry procurement.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in supply chain, business, engineering, or related field.
• 7+ years of procurement/supply chain experience in industrial manufacturing or heavy industry.
• Proven experience leading procurement teams in a plant or site-based environment.
• Strong negotiation and contract management experience with cost savings results.

Responsibilities

• Lead all site-level procurement activities to ensure uninterrupted supply of materials, spare parts, and services.
• Serve as primary procurement partner to plant leadership, aligning sourcing with operational priorities.
• Lead, coach, and develop a small team of 1–2 procurement professionals.
• Support safety, sustainability, and procurement governance initiatives.
• Manage supplier relationships, including sourcing, contracting, and performance management.
• Forecast demand with plant leadership and support outages and capital projects.
• Identify cost savings and cost avoidance through category management and vendor consolidation.
• Drive continuous improvement in procurement processes and inventory management.
