Qualifications

• Requires deep leadership knowledge to guide cross‑department projects.
• Minimum high school diploma or equivalent (GED) required.
• Typically a University degree or equivalent experience with 8–10 years of relevant experience.
• ISCM (Certified Procurement) or equivalent accreditation preferred.

Responsibilities

• Oversee division-level procurement operations.
• Execute procurement strategies with collaboration from construction peers to ensure alignment with budgets and timelines.
• Create and manage a comprehensive house cost budget and plan; ensure budget accuracy.
• Lead startup strategy meetings to support new community launches and align with project goals.
• Provide oversight on procurement items to keep stakeholders informed and aligned.
• Forecast risks and cost opportunities via project tracker and implement strategies.
• Identify opportunities to reduce complexity and improve margins through procurement processes.
• Drive vendor performance through VIP meetings, site walks, and sustainable partnerships.
• Demonstrate effective communication through presentations tailored to different audiences.
• Build relationships with trade partners to execute sourcing strategies and ensure cost efficiency.
• Attract, recruit, hire, and develop a procurement team and foster a strong culture.
• Manage and develop other procurement team members to drive performance.
• Performs other duties as assigned.
