Job summary

GCI Incorporated is seeking a Procurement Lead to manage purchasing activities for multiple programs. You will lead a small team, coordinate with sales and accounting, and ensure accurate order processing, receiving, and invoicing while maintaining vendor relationships.

Applicants must be a US citizen with an active TS/SCI clearance with a polygraph. Strong communication, problem-solving, and cross-functional collaboration skills are essential.

Qualifications

• 3–5 years of purchasing experience or strong customer service background.
• Excellent written and oral communication skills.
• Proactive problem solver focused on timely delivery and issue resolution.
• Team player with analytical and organizational skills in a fast-paced environment.
• Strong cross-functional collaboration with sales, accounting and management.
• Proficient in MS Office365; Deltek CostPoint experience a plus.

Responsibilities

• Receive orders from sales; coordinate with Accounting for proper processing.
• Perform receiving functions and certify completed orders.
• Negotiate terms with sales and vendors on damage, returns, or other changes.
• Maintain files on materials, inventories, and deliveries.
• Liaise between program, sales, and vendors for booking/invoicing questions.
