Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent combination of education and experience preferred.
• Manufacturing environment exposure and the ability to lift up to 50 lbs occasionally.
• Strong communication, organization, negotiation, problem-solving and analytical skills.

Responsibilities

• Oversee procurement activities, purchasing systems, and procedures.
• Supervise storeroom and supply personnel.
• Source, evaluate, and maintain vendor relationships.
• Negotiate pricing, quality, delivery, and service with suppliers.
• Prepare and review purchase orders, contracts, bids, and vendor agreements.
• Monitor materials from purchase through delivery and ensure availability.
• Manage procurement reporting and assign purchasing requests.
• Develop and improve office, purchasing, and workflow procedures.
• Coordinate disposal of surplus materials.
• Use Microsoft Word, Excel, and Plex manufacturing software.
