Job summary

The position reports to the Sr. Manager, Purchasing, and requires a Bachelor's degree in Accounting/Business/Finance and at least five years in procurement within manufacturing.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Business, Economics, or Finance or equivalent relevant experience.
• Five years of experience in supply chain, commodities, or procurement in a manufacturing environment.
• Experience using an ERP system such as PeopleSoft or SAP.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office applications.

Responsibilities

• Reviews, analyzes, and processes approved purchase requisitions in Company ERP application such as PeopleSoft or SAP.
• Requests, reviews, and processes quotes from approved vendors or suppliers.
• Researches new vendors or suppliers to ensure quality, cost, and on-time delivery.
• Maintains and updates approved vendor/supplier list; monitors PPV to reduce cost.
• Tracks overdue or delinquent orders and escalates issues to maintain delivery schedules.
• Responds to information requests from departments; adheres to safety policies.
