Job summary

Headway Technologies in Milpitas, CA, seeks a Logistics and Inventory Specialist to optimize stores operations, coordinate material movement, and ensure accurate inventory control. You will work with Purchasing, Production, Finance, and suppliers to maintain material availability and safety in warehouse activities.

The role requires 5 years of logistics or procurement experience in a semiconductor/manufacturing environment, proficiency with Oracle/SAP/PeopleSoft, and excellent communication.

Qualifications

• Associate's degree in Business Administration, Manufacturing, Supply Chain Management, Procurement, or related field, or equivalent experience.
• Five years of logistics, inventory management, materials planning, or procurement experience in semiconductor/manufacturing.
• Strong analytical, interpersonal, and negotiation skills.
• Proficient with ERP systems (Oracle, PeopleSoft, SAP) and MS Office.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate material expedite requests and resolve shortages with Purchasing, suppliers, and internal customers.
• Maintain inventory accuracy and data integrity in ERP systems; monitor logistics KPIs.
• Conduct regular stock counts and audits; implement corrective actions.
• Oversee receiving to ensure PO conformity and quality; resolve discrepancies.
• Manage Return Material Authorization (RMA) processes and vendor communications.
• Maintain organized Stores storage and assist with peak workload material handling.
• Support continuous improvement and manage small projects within scope and budget.
