Job summary

Baby2Baby in Los Angeles seeks a Procurement Manager to strengthen and optimize its procurement processes in support of rapid growth and expanding partnerships.

You will implement formal SOPs, centralize procurement oversight, and negotiate with vendors to secure favorable pricing and timely deliveries, including overseas suppliers. Office-based with 3–5 days on-site, and involvement at events as needed.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required.
• 5+ years of procurement, purchasing, or supply chain management experience.
• Experience sourcing and negotiating with vendors including overseas suppliers and tariffs.
• Strong analytical skills to forecast needs and manage procurement data.
• Excellent communication and ability to collaborate across departments.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office and Google Workspace; willingness to learn new tools.

Responsibilities

• Develop formalized procurement procedures and SOPs for efficiency and scalability.
• Source, evaluate, and negotiate with vendors, including overseas suppliers, with compliance to tariffs and import/export rules.
• Build and maintain strategic vendor relationships to secure favorable pricing and reliable delivery.
• Collaborate with Program, Partnerships, Finance, and Warehouse to align purchasing priorities and timelines.
• Monitor budgets and provide forecasting to support leadership decisions.
• Ensure procurement data is accurate for reporting on trends and vendor performance.
• Assist with on-site events and distributions as needed.
