Qualifications

• Associate degree in business-related field plus 3 years procurement/financial experience.
• Or a high school diploma with 5 years progressive related experience in procurement, accounting, or logistics.
• Preferred: Bachelor’s degree and professional procurement certification (CPPB/CPPO) are a bonus.
• Must hold a valid Alabama driver's license and maintain acceptable driving record.

Responsibilities

• Serve as the Authority's primary procurement official.
• Coordinate and oversee agency-wide procurement activities.
• Develop, implement, and maintain procurement procedures and best practices.
• Review and approve procurement documentation for compliance with agency requirements.
• Coordinate RFPs, RFQs, ITBs, and other procurement processes.
• Maintain procurement files to support audits and compliance.
• Monitor budgets and ensure purchases align with funding restrictions.
• Coordinate inventory systems and conduct quarterly inventories.
• Maintain vendor files and performance records.
• Prepare procurement and revenue reports and assist with audits.
