GE Vernova is seeking a Procurement Buyer responsible for executing end-to-end procurement, managing supplier relationships, and ensuring policy compliance. You will drive cost optimization while coordinating with Sourcing, Engineering, Finance, and Manufacturing to support production goals.

The role emphasizes data-driven decisions using MMS ERP, Tableau/Power BI, and Excel; experience in a fast-paced, global environment is required, with U.S. export control eligibility.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree from an accredited university (or equivalent).
• 2–5 years in procurement, supply chain, or related roles.
• ERP proficiency (SAP/Oracle) and advanced Excel (VLOOKUP, Pivot Tables).
• Strong negotiation, interpersonal skills, and problem-solving mindset in a global, fast-paced environment.
• U.S. Person per export control requirements.

Responsabilités

• Procurement Execution: manage end-to-end procurement, PO creation, and ERP maintenance.
• Supplier Relationship Management: primary contact for suppliers; monitor performance and lead-time negotiations.
• Cost Optimization: negotiate pricing for spot buys and participate in RFQs/RFPs.
• Supply Chain Continuity: monitor MRP signals to prevent shortages, expedite orders, and manage inventory.
• Compliance & Risk: ensure adherence to GE Vernova policies, trade compliance, and ethical sourcing.
• Cross-Functional Collaboration: partner with Sourcing, Engineering, Finance, and Manufacturing.
• Strategic Sourcing & Category Support: assist in category strategies, negotiations, benchmarking, supplier qualification.
• Data-Driven Decision Making: use MMS ERP and Tableau/Power BI/Excel to track KPIs (PPV, cost-out, OTD).
• Supplier Performance Management: conduct reviews; drive CAPAs for issues.
• Risk Mitigation: identify disruptions; plan contingencies including dual-sourcing and safety stock.
• Process Excellence & Lean: Kaizen and Six Sigma to RTP cycle improvements.
