Job summary

Air Methods seeks a Procurement Buyer and Planner to negotiate purchases, participate in strategic sourcing, and manage supplier relationships. You will handle internal requisitions, oversee asset disposition, and lead procurement projects across purchasing, contracting and logistics.

The role requires coordinating with Category Managers, driving process improvements, and ensuring timely responses for AOG and rush orders. Some travel may be required.

Qualifications

• Associate degree or equivalent from two-year college; APICS/CPIM certification preferred.
• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent; military or professional leadership experience considered.
• Experience with data gathering and analysis for process improvement.

Responsibilities

• Negotiate purchases of goods and services with suppliers.
• Participate in strategic and tactical sourcing initiatives and RFP/RFQ processes and negotiations.
• Fulfill internal requisitions via inventory, repaired assets, or purchase orders from approved suppliers.
• Administer and manage removed assets for repair or disposition; provide leadership support to Buyers.
