Job summary

Our Client in Wilmington, NC is seeking a Procurement Buyer to support production through inventory purchasing and supplier coordination. You will manage procurement activities, analyze replenishment, review orders, and resolve issues to ensure smooth material flow for the manufacturing process.

The role requires 3+ years in supply chain, familiarity with PeopleSoft and SAP, and strong Excel/analytical skills in a collaborative team.

Qualifications

Bachelor's or Associate degree in Supply Chain, Logistics, Business or Technical.
3+ years of demonstrated success in Supply Chain functions such as Storeroom, Procurement, Planning, or customer care.
Experience with PeopleSoft and SAP.
Proficient Excel and analytical tools.
Strong interpersonal, tactful and collaborative skills.

Responsibilities

Inventory Purchasing: manage selected inventory items to support production needs.
Replenishment analysis and supplier changes; review orders and expedite as needed.
Vendor management: align parts with corporate suppliers and maintain supplier data.
Accounting interaction: support inventory costing and audit requirements; resolve issues.
