Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in supply chain, purchasing, operations, or business administration.
• Proficient in MS Excel and MS Office.
• Polished written and verbal communication.
• Collaborative with cross-functional partners in AP, IT, Internal Audit, Legal, Operations, and Maintenance.
• Autonomous and able to work with minimal supervision.
• Organized with strong record-keeping.
• Analytical with data-driven decision making.
• Willingness to travel up to 10%.

Responsibilities

• Adhere to Health and Safety programs and drive a zero-incident culture.
• Follow procurement protocols and processes.
• Evaluate internal requisitions, solicit bids, and create purchase orders.
• Process requisitions, issue POs, expedite orders, and verify delivery.
• Bid goods/services to obtain best pricing, quality, and delivery for non-metal commodities.
• Review Open Order & Past Due reports to ensure timely arrivals.
• Support senior procurement in projects and supplier performance tracking.
• Negotiate with suppliers to achieve best pricing and resolution of issues.
• Create and report procurement metrics.
• Collaborate with Accounts Payable to resolve invoice disputes.
• Assist with Oracle I-Procurement training.
• Pursue cost savings and cost avoidance through bids and negotiations.
• Assist with plant storeroom management as needed.
