USA Rare Earth, Inc. is seeking a hands-on Procurement Buyer to support company-wide purchasing activities and develop SOPs. You will manage end-to-end procurement from RFQ to PO, ensuring best value and audit-ready documentation while partnering with operations, engineering, finance, and administration.

The role requires 3+ years in procurement or supply chain, a Bachelor’s degree, and experience with ERP systems and Excel. On-site work across facilities is expected, with travel as needed.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in related field as a minimum requirement.
• Experience with inventory and indirect procurement, vendor communication, and PO lifecycle management.
• ERP or purchasing systems experience (MS BC, Dynamics 365, NetSuite, SAP, etc.) and Excel/Smartsheet.
• Strong attention to detail, organization, and self-starter mindset.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.

Responsabilités

• Manage the procurement lifecycle for indirect and direct purchases: RFQ, PO creation, order placement, delivery tracking and follow-up.
• Procure inventory items, corporate materials, office supplies, services, and small equipment across departments.
• Collaborate with internal stakeholders to anticipate needs and ensure timely material/service availability.
• Ensure timely and accurate entry of POs, vendor data updates, and supporting documentation per policy.
• Assist in developing and implementing procurement SOPs, workflows, and standard forms.
• Maintain procurement records, quotes, and receipts for audit and SOX compliance.
• Monitor supplier performance, lead times, and quality of goods and services.
• Identify opportunities to reduce cost and consolidate vendors.
