Job summary

Noveon Magnetics, based in San Marcos, TX, seeks a Procurement Lead to manage day-to-day buying activities and ensure uninterrupted material flow for magnet manufacturing. You will own PO execution, supplier performance, and inventory replenishment, translating production demand into cost-effective actions.

This role requires strategic thinking, technical fluency in rare earth markets, and hands-on procurement execution.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a related field required.
• 5+ years of progressive procurement and supply chain experience, including leadership.
• Experience negotiating long-term supply agreements with significant dollar value.
• Strong financial acumen and cost modeling abilities.
• Experience with geopolitically complex supply chains (ITAR, EAR, etc.).

Responsibilities

• Execute and manage purchase orders from requisition to receipt with pricing accuracy.
• Convert demand signals into timely buying to maintain target inventory and safety stock.
• Expedite/de-expedite orders to align supply with production schedules.
• Monitor supplier delivery performance and hold vendors accountable for lead times and quality.
• Own monthly spend analytics, supplier scorecards, and procurement KPIs.
