TREW LLC is seeking a Buyer to lead strategic procurement and supplier relationships to optimize value for the organization in sourcing goods and services. You will procure standard production materials, components, and indirect materials while evaluating bids and maintaining supplier contacts to ensure availability, quality, and pricing.

The role requires a background in purchasing and supply chain, with the ability to manage replenishment and collaborate across QA, Engineering, and suppliers.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Science or Business; 2–4 years in a manufacturing environment.
• Experience with ERP/MRP and purchasing software; Netsuite a plus.
• Strong Excel, analytical and negotiation abilities; able to thrive in a fast-paced environment.

Responsabilités

• Source raw materials, components, and finished products for manufacturing with cost-effective pricing.
• Serve as main contact for suppliers regarding purchasing issues.
• Negotiate and manage purchase orders for commodities and MRO items.
• Expedite deliveries and follow up on past-due orders.
• Collaborate with planner on One Time Buy (OTB) and sales trends.
• Manage invoice reconciliations.
• Maintain records of supplies and inventory levels; analyze usage over time.
• Coordinate communication between QA, Engineering, and suppliers.
• Monitor supplier performance and lead times; drive on-time delivery.
• Develop supplier scorecards with Quality and Strategic Sourcing.
• Follow up on Corrective Action items with Quality and Supplier.
• Participate in ERP system development to improve inventory processes.
• Help implement purchasing and contract management procedures.
• Increase transparency across departments to meet production requirements.
