Job summary

Trew is seeking a Strategic Sourcing Specialist in West Chester, OH to manage supplier relationships for freight and related commodities. You will shape sourcing strategies to ensure timely delivery of projects and customer commitments while driving cost efficiencies.

The ideal candidate will have 3–5 years in purchasing within a project-driven environment, strong negotiation and analytics, and experience with ERP/TMS systems. This hybrid role supports both office and site work.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in business, supply chain, or related field.
• 3–5 years buying/purchasing experience in a project-oriented environment.
• 3–5 years buying/purchasing experience in logistics or freight sourcing globally.

Responsibilities

• Ensure continuous supply and communicate risks to business operations.
• Monitor market trends and supplier performance; develop cost-saving opportunities.
• Develop sourcing strategies for freight and logistics services (ocean, air, trucking, 3PL).
• Collaborate with project managers and engineering to define sourcing requirements and budgets.
