Job summary

CLS Health in Houston, TX, is seeking a Procurement Associate to support sourcing, negotiating, and purchasing goods and services essential to our operations. You will partner with finance, logistics, and operations to manage purchase orders, maintain supplier relationships, monitor lead times, and seek cost-saving process improvements in a fast-paced team environment.

The role requires sharp analytical skills, meticulous attention to detail, and strong communication and collaboration abilities

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, or related field preferred.
• Previous purchasing, procurement, or supply chain experience is advantageous.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office, especially Excel, and procurement software/ERP familiarity is a plus.
• Strong analytical, communication, and negotiation skills.
• Ability to perform in a fast-paced environment and work collaboratively in a team.

Responsibilities

• Identify potential suppliers and vendors for goods and services.
• Evaluate supplier reliability, pricing, and product quality.
• Maintain supplier relationships and negotiate terms and pricing.
• Assist in creating, processing, and tracking purchase orders.
• Coordinate with internal stakeholders to ensure accurate specs and quantities.
• Monitor purchase orders for timely delivery and resolve discrepancies.
• Maintain inventory records and monitor stock levels.
• Collaborate with inventory management to forecast demand and optimize turnover.
• Liaise with finance, logistics, and operations to align on purchasing needs.
