Job summary

Teledyne Technologies Incorporated seeks a procurement analyst to research and compare products and services using the IVALIA system, and to troubleshoot Dolphin records. The role requires knowledge of supplier pricing, quality, availability, and reliability to optimize purchasing plans.

The candidate will engage with suppliers and internal teams, potentially travel to centers, and assist in 3rd party material classification for compliance. A BS/BA in related fields is preferred.

Qualifications

• Forecasting, MRP, transportation, supply chain, inventory management and warehousing disciplines.
• Proficient with MS Office suite – advanced skills with MS Excel.
• Strong sense of urgency and attention to detail.
• Excellent organization, communication, and follow-up skills.

Responsibilities

• Procurement analysts frequently communicate with suppliers, senior buyers, and planner/buyers.
• Visit distribution centers and manufacturing sites to learn about products, services, and prices and prepare supplier reports for review.
• Negotiate contract terms after bidding to suppliers, potentially travel to network with new suppliers.
• Troubleshoot accounts payable issues affecting suppliers including PO amendments, receipts, invoices, and duplicates.
