The procurement analyst’s duties are to research and compare products and services from suppliers in order to decide what will be most compatible for the company using the Teledyne Smart Source System (IVALUA). This position will also provide troubleshooting and rectification of Dolphin record issues along with 3rd Party Classification of material sourced for 3rd party vendors.
Having a working technical knowledge of the goods or services being purchased is extremely important for procurement analysts. Being informed about the correct price, quality, availability, and reliability of a product allows analysts to ensure the best purchasing plan possible for their company.
