The University of Nevada, Las Vegas (UNLV) invites applications for the Purchasing Analyst, Financial Services. This role administers a wide range of procurement activities and ensures compliance with NSHE policies, NRS, and UNLV procedures, supporting campus objectives with high-quality service.

The position requires a Bachelor's Degree and 2–4 years of purchasing experience, with a focus on competitive sourcing, contract management, and cost savings opportunities.

Competenze

• Bachelor's Degree from an accredited college or university and 2-4 years of purchasing experience.
• Experience negotiating contracts and managing vendor relationships.
• Familiarity with procurement processes, NSHE policies, NRS, and public procurement best practices.

Mansioni

• Administer procurements including RFIs, RFQs, RFPs, IFBs, sole source procurements, purchase orders, construction solicitations, and contracts.
• Prepare, negotiate, award, and administer contracts for goods and services throughout the full contract lifecycle.
• Review, create, issue, and manage purchase orders and change orders, ensuring accuracy, compliance, and closeout.
• Conduct market research and assess opportunities to consolidate requests into campus-wide procurements to improve efficiency and pricing.
• Ensure compliance with legal, insurance, and regulatory requirements in all procurement activities.
• Coordinate and lead pre-bid meetings, bid openings, evaluations, negotiations, and award recommendations.
