Job summary

FirstEnergy Corp seeks a Continuous Improvement Business Analyst to drive efficiency across operations. Based in Akron, OH, you will act as a change agent, identifying improvement opportunities and delivering data-backed recommendations to reduce waste and costs while improving customer service and profitability.

You will gather and analyze performance metrics, lead cross-functional workshops, and develop predictive models using statistical techniques and tools such as Python and RapidMiner.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree with relevant work experience or equivalent experience.
• Proficient analytical and quantitative skills with ability to identify challenges.
• Experience delivering CI projects, meeting deadlines and budget requirements.
• Ability to gather and analyze information, develop solutions, and present recommendations.
• Familiarity with business operations and cross-functional collaboration.

Responsibilities

• Identify opportunities for process improvement and cost optimization.
• Analyze current processes using mapping and data analytics to identify bottlenecks.
• Gather data and KPIs to quantify inefficiencies and track improvements.
• Lead workshops and drive process enhancements with stakeholders.
• Establish metrics to track progress and report outcomes to leadership.
• Develop models and tools to support data-driven decisions.
