Job summary

Pacific Gas and Electric Company is seeking a Principal Program Manager in Oakland to lead data, analytics, and technology initiatives for the Asset Risk Management (ARM) team. You will define ARM’s data foundations, guide AI/ML readiness, and drive adoption of analytics tools across the enterprise.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience.
• 10 years of related experience or equivalent.
• Master’s in Business Administration or other Advanced Degree (desired).
• Experience in working with AI/ML, data governance, and large data sets.
• Experience in Geographic Information Systems (GIS) analytics.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain strong working relationships with all strategic programs and partners.
• Report-outs to leaders in EAM in WORs and MORs, and as needed to the Executive Leadership Team (ELT).
• Performs or leads feasibility analysis, business case development, develop project scope, and provide recommendations on the alternative solutions, project strategy and deliverable prioritization.
• Recognized subject matter expert who represents PG&E in regulatory and/or industry forums on subject of expertise.
• Coaches and mentors less experienced employees
• Solves unique and complex problems, anticipating issues and developing innovative solutions.
• Demonstrates strategic leadership with internal stakeholders to support Company goals.
• Leads development of program goals and metrics to meet company goals and objectives.
• Organize and lead cross-utility project teams to influence utility, regulatory and/or industry decisions.
• Develops or provides significant input to PG&E leadership, other utilities with similar programs, industry and/or regulatory decision makers to influence market place and regulatory strategies impacting PG&E and its customers.
