Job summary

Aston Carter is seeking a Pricing Analyst for a Madison, IN manufacturing unit. The role drives pricing strategy, profitability analyses, and financial planning across product lines, partnering with Sales, Engineering, Operations, Marketing and Product teams.

This is a hybrid on-site role (23 days/week in Madison). Salary range is $100,000 to $140,000 per year, plus benefits including 401(k), medical, dental and vision.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or Business.
• 3+ years in pricing, quotation, cost estimating, or financial planning.
• Hands-on ERP experience.
• Experience with Power BI data visualization.
• Advanced Excel skills for analysis and reporting.
• Experience supporting cross-functional teams (Sales, Engineering, Operations).
• Experience in cost accounting and cost analysis in manufacturing.
• Proficiency in financial reporting and month-end close.
• Forecasting, budgeting, and financial planning experience.
• Pricing analysis, quoting, and product cost modeling experience.
• Cash flow analysis with NPV and IRR.
• Familiarity with accounts payable processes.

Responsibilities

• Lead forecasting and financial planning for a manufacturing unit with revenue over $300M.
• Provide detailed financial analysis to Sales, Engineering, Operations, Marketing and Product Line teams.
• Oversee customer quoting, new program financials, and product cost modeling for profitability.
• Manage quote-to-launch process, including capital tracking and investment accuracy.
• Drive monthly capital reporting and capital forecast to support allocation.
• Conduct ad hoc reporting and analysis for operational decisions.
• Evaluate investments using NPV, IRR, and cash flow analysis.
• Analyze product line performance, pricing, and variances to improve margins.
• Partner with leadership on growth initiatives and roadmaps.
• Lead kaizen-style process improvements to shorten approvals.
• Lead financial education initiatives for non-finance managers.
• Support month-end close, cost analysis and reconciliations.
• Collaborate with AP and other finance functions for accurate reporting.
• Utilize ERP and Power BI to develop dashboards and reports.
• Refine capital tracking and reporting for planning.
