Job summary

Avnet is hiring a Pricing Analyst in the United States to develop and implement pricing strategies based on market dynamics. You will conduct competitive pricing analysis and monitor pricing integrity across ERP systems while collaborating with Sales, Marketing and Finance.

The role requires 3+ years of pricing experience, strong analytical skills and a Bachelor's degree. Hybrid work arrangement is available, with three days in-office.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent required.
• 3+ years of pricing experience in a corporate environment.
• Strong analytical skills and ability to translate data into actionable pricing strategies.

Responsibilities

• Partners with sales/marketing, business development and finance to position product portfolio and align pricing programs with strategy and revenue recognition.
• Analyzes prices in external marketplace (competitor pricing, seasonal changes, discounts, willingness to pay) and overall consumer spending patterns.
• Verify pricing and clear price-related blocks in the ERP before generating delivery orders. Provide suppliers with POS information.
• Analyzes internal pricing models considering costs (labor, materials, distribution, contracts) to evaluate prices against expenses and budgets.
• Evaluates opportunities to monetize products offered at little to no cost or repositioned in the market to upsell.
• Projects impact of pricing changes, promotions and rebate programs on revenue.
• Creates/administers pricing databases and coordinates implementation of pricing and delivery proposals across the organization.
• May update pricing databases and track current vs historical pricing of company products and competitors.
• Performs analysis and reports results of program impact to account managers and plans for growth.
• Maintains and drives pricing knowledge of products, competitors, technology and customers in the supplier product market.
