Job summary

Avnet seeks a Pricing professional to develop, evaluate and implement pricing strategies aligned with product and market dynamics in a fast-paced tech distribution environment.

The role collaborates with sales, finance and operations to optimize margins, monitor competitive pricing and ensure ERP blocks are cleared before orders. Typically 3+ years of experience and a Bachelor's degree are required.

Qualifications

• 3+ years in pricing or related roles.
• Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience.
• Experience in semiconductors or electronics industry.

Responsibilities

• Partner with sales/marketing, business development and finance to position product portfolio and pricing programs.
• Analyze prices in external marketplace and monitor competitive changes.
• Verify pricing and clear ERP price blocks before orders.
• Analyze internal pricing models considering costs (labor, materials, distribution) to evaluate prices.
• Evaluate impact of pricing changes and promotions on revenue.
• Create and maintain pricing databases; coordinate proposals across the org.
• Update pricing databases with current and historical pricing.
• Report results of program impact to account managers.
• Maintain knowledge of products, competitors, technology and customers.
• Other duties as assigned.
