Job summary

ProAmpac Holdings, Inc. is seeking a Pricing Analyst to join the Pricing team. The role supports pricing strategy through detailed cost, price, and margin analysis and develops customer quotations to drive profitable growth.

You will collaborate with Sales, Manufacturing, Procurement, and Product Development to build cost models and respond to bids and RFPs, while maintaining pricing integrity and timely recommendations.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Business, or related field, or equivalent experience in pricing, estimating, cost accounting, or manufacturing analysis.
• Experience working within a manufacturing environment preferred.
• Understanding of manufacturing cost drivers, including BOMs, routing, machine rates, waste, setup times, standard costs, and variances.
• Advanced Microsoft Excel skills, including formulas, data analysis, and pivot tables.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and financial modeling capabilities.
• Exceptional attention to detail, organizational skills, and ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
• Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively across all levels of the organization.

Responsibilities

• Develop cost estimates and pricing models using inputs from Sales, Manufacturing, Procurement, Product Development, and historical production data.
• Perform cost, pricing, and margin analyses to support business decisions and profitability objectives.
• Prepare customer quotations, competitive bids, and RFP responses, ensuring alignment with company pricing strategy and margin targets.
• Build, maintain, and update cost models for products, business units, and manufacturing locations.
• Analyze production costs, market trends, competitive pricing, and customer pricing opportunities to identify areas for improvement.
• Support pricing escalators, de-escalators, and other pricing mechanisms as business conditions evolve.
• Partner cross-functionally with Sales, Operations, Finance, Product Development, and Procurement to deliver accurate and timely pricing recommendations.
