Job summary

American Bureau of Shipping (ABS) seeks a Senior Pricing Analyst to assist with pricing initiatives and craft strategies for new and established products. The role combines quantitative analysis and qualitative interviewing to deliver pricing recommendations to the Pricing Manager.

The position supports global, cross-functional teams and requires strong communication of complex financial information. Hybrid schedule with some in-office presence in Spring, Texas.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years’ experience in Finance, Accounting, Marketing, Economics, Pricing, or related role.
• Bachelor’s Degree from an accredited college or university preferred or equivalent experience.
• Certified Pricing Professional preferred.

Responsibilities

• Monitor pricing processes for the business.
• Monitor the review process to define pricing strategies.
• Assist with pricing policy and guideline implementation across the business.
• Work across global, cross-functional project teams in structuring and executing analyses required to develop pricing policies.
• Support multiple service pricing reviews simultaneously.
• Facilitate and train personnel on tools developed to operationalize pricing processes.
• Provide ad-hoc analytical support as necessary.
• Ensure internal systems are timely and accurately updated with approved pricing policies.
• Support Project Accounting initiatives and goals.
