Job summary

Upchurch is seeking a Preventative Maintenance Account Executive to drive new service maintenance agreements for commercial and industrial HVAC/R systems. You will prospect, consult, and close opportunities while building lasting relationships with facilities managers and owners.

This role emphasizes strategic prospecting, tailored proposals, and collaboration with service teams to ensure contract delivery and client satisfaction.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of B2B sales experience in mechanical services, facilities management, or HVAC/R.
• Strong understanding of mechanical systems and maintenance strategies.
• Exceptional interpersonal, communication, and presentation skills.
• Detail-oriented with strong organizational and follow-through capabilities.
• Self-starter able to work independently and manage a defined territory.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, CRM systems, and sales tracking tools.

Responsibilities

• Identify, pursue, and close new preventative maintenance agreement opportunities with commercial and industrial clients.
• Conduct facility assessments to understand system conditions, schedules, and client needs.
• Prepare customized maintenance proposals based on site findings and customer goals.
• Develop long-term relationships with facilities managers and key decision-makers.
• Maintain and grow a robust sales pipeline through outreach, networking, and follow-up.
