Job summary

ANSER is seeking a Preparedness and Emergency Management Analyst to support the ASW(HD). You will apply experience in preparedness, emergency management, or national security to support homeland defense mission requirements.

Day-to-day work includes research and analysis, development and coordination of planning materials, and preparing briefings for senior leadership. A TS/SCI clearance and a Bachelor’s degree with 2+ years of relevant experience are preferred.

Qualifications

• Active TS/SCI security clearance.
• Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field; 2 years experience may substitute.
• At least 2 years of experience in preparedness, emergency management, or another national security area.
• Strong analytical, research, organizational, and communication skills.
• Ability to work with senior-level stakeholders in a fast-paced environment.
• Ability to develop clear written products and briefings.

Responsibilities

• Support preparedness, emergency management, homeland defense, and national security activities for the ASW(HD).
• Conduct research and analysis to support mission requirements and priorities.
• Support the development and coordination of planning and programmatic materials.
• Assist with interpreting and applying Federal requirements to mission activities.
• Support the development of acquisition and contracting documentation, including PWSs and SOWs.
• Coordinate with stakeholders across headquarters and other Federal organizations as needed.
• Prepare briefings, reports, correspondence, and other materials to support senior leadership.
• Perform other related duties in support of the ASW(HD) mission.
