Job summary

Atalnt Llc is seeking an experienced Senior Pre-construction Manager in Atlanta to strengthen our estimating and planning capabilities and set projects up for success from day one. This role leads preconstruction, overseeing estimating, budgeting, and planning from pursuit through award, while building strong owner/architect/engineer relationships and mentoring a growing team.

Qualifications

• Lead preconstruction activities with established processes for estimating, budgeting, and planning.
• Advise leadership on feasibility, market conditions, and risk during pursuit.
• Develop and maintain preconstruction schedules from pursuit to award.
• Mentor a growing preconstruction team.

Responsibilities

• Oversee conceptual to detailed cost estimates across delivery methods.
• Develop GMP proposals and budget documents with design teams.
• Review quantity takeoffs, unit pricing, and cost databases for accuracy.
• Lead value engineering without compromising design or quality.
• Manage bid solicitation, subcontractor outreach, and bid leveling.
• Coordinate with architects/engineers/owners for constructability input.
• Handoff awarded projects to project management and field teams.
• Monitor budget performance and inform future preconstruction efforts.
