Job summary

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in construction-related or technical field.
• Proficiency in On Screen Take-Off for accurate project estimation.
• Experience with Microsoft Office for communication and documentation.
• Knowledge of Timberline for financial management of projects.
• Familiarity with Bluebeam for document management and collaboration.
• SmartBid expertise for subcontractor/supplier interactions.
• Working knowledge of Viewpoint to streamline project management.

Responsibilities

• Manage multiple projects from concept through bidding, design, and subcontract bidding phases.
• Solicit subcontractor and supplier bids to secure competitive proposals.
• Review bid documents and perform quantity take-offs for accurate assessment.
• Order and distribute bid documents to keep stakeholders informed.
• Participate in pre-bid conferences to clarify requirements.
• Visit proposed sites to assess conditions and challenges.
• Monitor sub-bidders’ participation during bids.
• Consult with project managers and superintendents on schedules and considerations.
• Input take-off data into estimating programs.
• Set up bid tabulation forms to evaluate bids.
• Prepare Qualification Attachments to bid forms.
• Arrange bid bonds and insurance reviews.
• Submit RFIs to architects to resolve ambiguities.
• Participate with pre-construction services team on bid day.
• Analyze and tabulate sub-bids to support decisions.
• Compile post-bid files for records.
• Update vendor/database information.
• Participate in post-bid interviews to aid approval.
• Prepare conceptual estimates for early planning.
• Adhere to company policies and regulatory standards.
