Job summary

Freeman Mathis & Gary, LLP is seeking a Practice Manager in Atlanta to oversee business management for assigned practice sections and, when applicable, offices. The role acts as the primary business advisor and translates firm strategy into day-to-day operations.

Responsibilities include monitoring workload, budgets, reporting, and KPI tracking, while coordinating with departments and stakeholders to support practice objectives and embedding training programs.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree required; law degree preferred.
• Experience in a law firm or professional services environment is preferred.
• Strong understanding of practice management, staffing, budgeting, and reporting.
• Ability to coordinate with attorneys, leaders, and admin teams.

Responsibilities

• Serve as the primary business advisor and liaison to assigned practice sections and offices.
• Coordinate business planning activities and support section goals.
• Review matters and consult on staffing and assignments.
• Monitor workload, utilization, and capacity and recommend resources.
