Job summary

Communities Foundation of Texas is seeking a Public Relations and Communications Manager to lead integrated communications that strengthen the organization’s brand, visibility, and reputation. You will partner with the Senior Director, PR, Communications, and External Relations to drive storytelling, content, and earned media across channels.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in communications, journalism, marketing, PR, or related field.
6–8+ years of progressive experience in public relations, communications, or related field.
Proven ability to develop and lead strategic communications or PR plans.
Experience with senior leadership and executive stakeholders.
Experience managing agency partners and external vendors.
Superior writing and editing skills across formats.

Responsibilities

Lead development and execution of PR and media strategy with senior leadership and external PR firm.
Oversee press materials and strategic positioning.
Build relationships with media, journalists, influencers, and partners.
Identify high-impact story opportunities and manage agency partners.
Advise internal stakeholders on messaging and communications opportunities.
Own PR performance tracking and reporting for leadership and Board.
Support executive communications including messaging and talking points.
