Job summary

Tier One Partners in Boston is seeking a creative Account Manager to provide strategic guidance and trusted counsel to clients, turning insights into results. The role leads account health, develops launch plans, and collaborates on integrated campaigns across media relations, content, and digital strategies.

The successful candidate will manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment, mentor junior teammates, and help grow client engagements while ensuring budget adherence.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in communications, public relations, journalism, marketing, English, or related field.
• 4-5+ years of industry related experience.
• Proven track record developing and executing successful communication campaigns.
• Excellent written and verbal communications skills.
• Familiarity with Meltwater or another media monitoring/database platform.
• Ability to juggle multiple priorities and deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
• Collaborative, solutions-focused approach and initiative.

Responsibilities

• Serve as day-to-day client counselor and oversee account health.
• Drive program momentum and identify opportunities to exceed KPIs.
• Develop plans in support of corporate/product launches.
• Collaborate on integrated campaigns blending media relations, content, and digital strategies.
• Demonstrate strong writing/editing for pieces from press releases to white papers.
• Manage team workflows, mentor junior staff, and ensure quality deliverables.
• Contribute to agency morale and support new business efforts.
• Identify opportunities to grow accounts and client engagements.
• Manage accounts to budget including hours and expenses.
• Understand program measurement and track results against goals.
