Job summary

Tier One Partners in Boston is seeking a Senior Account Executive to lead client relationships and oversee the Account Executive, Assistant Account Executive, and Account Coordinator on your accounts. You will mentor and train junior staff, manage multiple deliverables on tight deadlines, and help drive PR, content, and social media goals.

You will participate in client meetings, contribute to new business proposals, and stay current with industry trends to expand our clients' digital

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a relevant field.
• 3+ years of industry-related experience.
• Technically proficient in Microsoft Office (PowerPoint, Word, Excel, Outlook).
• Excellent interpersonal and organizational skills; a self-starter and team player who is discreet, honest, and trustworthy.

Responsibilities

• Maintain outstanding client relationships through successful execution of client initiatives, effective communications, reporting, and problem-solving.
• Draft and develop press materials, including press releases, pitch letters, media advisories, executive bios, and fact sheets, as well as basic memos and marketing materials.
• Edit content and collateral before sending to clients for approval.
• Identify and secure media placements across print, broadcast, and web, and conceive creative approaches to position clients as thought leaders and market influencers.
• Create, develop, and pitch story ideas and interview opportunities to trade, online, and business press.
• Manage and grow strong relationships with editors, reporters, columnists, bloggers, and other media contacts.
• Take the lead in supervising the Account Coordinator, Assistant Account Executive, and Account Executive; train them on skills necessary for their roles and foster a team environment.
• Utilize project management skills to take ownership of multiple deliverables and projects, on deadline.
• Participate in regular client meetings and internal account brainstorming sessions, coming prepared with new ideas.
