Job summary

Meso Scale Diagnostics, LLC. is seeking a Portfolio Manager to oversee a portfolio of projects and programs with long duration and high complexity in a regulated life sciences environment.

Responsibilities include coordinating cross-functional teams, implementing PM processes, ensuring on-time delivery, and reporting to senior leadership. A competitive salary and comprehensive benefits are provided.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Engineering, Science or related field; Master’s degree preferred.
• Five years of experience directly leading projects in multiple technologies and functions.
• Project management certification or completion of a recognized project management curriculum or equivalent work experience required.
• Experience in life science, GMP, government contracting or other regulated industry desired.
• Two years of manager/supervisory experience.

Responsibilities

• Assembles project and program proposals, plans, schedules and appropriate resource allocations; defines the project’s scope, goals, objectives, and deliverables; develops high-quality, integrated cross-functional plans and schedules.
• Provides clear direction on project requirements and plans across the company at the project team, manager and director levels.
• Manages work efforts of cross-functional project teams in order to deliver projects according to project and program plans.
• Identifies project issues and proactively implements plans to resolve such issues and mitigate project impact.
• Determines resource needs and ensures allocated resources are aligned with forecasted work.
