Job summary

VTG is seeking a Project Management Support SME in Bethesda, MD, requiring a TS/SCI clearance with poly. The role focuses on portfolio management, strategic planning, and assisting senior government executives with program goals and schedules.

Responsibilities include analyzing IT portfolios, recommending strategies and roadmaps, and ensuring effective cross-entity collaboration while coordinating with partners outside the US. Pay ranges from $190,000 to $220,000 annually.

Qualifications

• Active TS/SCI security clearance with polygraph.
• Typically requires a BA degree and 12–15 years of prior relevant experience or a Master’s with 10–13 years of prior relevant experience.
• Draft products that reflect strong writing and grammatical skills.
• Knowledge of portfolio, program, and project management discipline.
• Familiarity with planning, programming, budgeting, and execution discipline.
• Knowledge of key performance indicators.
• Strong analytical competence, problem-solving, communication and organizational skills; provide audience-appropriate written and verbal communications.
• Ability to take charge of a group and set strategic guidance for a team of SMEs.

Responsibilities

• Monitor and analyze IT portfolio of programs and their capabilities and services.
• Support the Sponsor's strategic direction and priorities evolution.
• Recommend strategies, roadmaps, risks, gaps, dependencies, and funding issues.
• Assist government clients with program goals, schedules, and reports to executives.
• Communicate technical topics in non-technical terms to senior audiences.
• Collaborate across multiple entities with extensive experience.
• Work with partners outside the US.
