Job summary

Justrite Safety Group is seeking a Strategic Portfolio Manager to lead lithium-ion safety initiatives within the Chemical Safety BU. You’ll own the portfolio strategy, roadmaps, and governance for growth programs across new platforms and line extensions.

You’ll translate market needs into defined requirements, build business cases, and collaborate with engineering, marketing, operations, and supply chain to ensure successful launches and measurable outcomes.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Business, or related field (Engineering strongly preferred); MBA a plus.
• 3+ years of portfolio management, product management, strategy, or NPD leadership in industrial/manufacturing environments.
• Demonstrated success leading cross-functional NPD portfolios through a stage-gate process.

Responsibilities

• Own portfolio strategy and roadmap for lithium-ion safety product lines.
• Lead market intelligence and VOC to translate insights into portfolio moves.
• Drive program governance with monthly operating reviews and stage-gate execution.
• Define product positioning, value proposition, and pricing strategies.
• Lead launches with cross-functional teams including sales enablement and channel strategy.
• Manage portfolio performance with forecast, KPI tracking, and investment governance.
