Job summary

JM Family Enterprises, Inc. is seeking a Portfolio Manager to provide strategic oversight of portfolios and serve as a key partner in portfolio management, budgeting, forecasting and executive reporting.

This role ensures alignment between project investments, organizational priorities and financial objectives. The position involves close collaboration with technology leadership, finance, project managers and business stakeholders to drive portfolio governance, financial transparency, risk

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience in a related field.
5+ years in portfolio, program, or project management.
Experience managing portfolio financials and budgets.
Strong budgeting, forecasting, and P&L reporting knowledge.
Ability to translate complex concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
Proven leadership of cross-functional teams.

Responsibilities

Develop and deliver executive-level presentations communicating portfolio status and financial performance.
Lead portfolio governance to align projects and investments with priorities.
Oversee collaboration with project and portfolio managers for reporting and delivery.
Manage resource allocation, risk mitigation, and stakeholder communication across projects.
Ensure tracking and reporting of portfolio financials including budget and monthly forecasts.
Oversee vendor financial performance and review invoices and contracts.
Define and monitor KPIs to evaluate project success and portfolio health.
Recruit, onboard, and mentor project management talent.
Establish portfolio management best practices and reporting frameworks.
