Job summary

Padagis is seeking a Manager/Senior Manager for Strategic Portfolio and Business Development in the US, based in Pennsylvania. You will analyze and evaluate potential product opportunities, M&A targets, and collaboration opportunities, delivering reports and strategic recommendations to senior leadership.

Responsibilities include due diligence, business case development, segment analysis, and cross-functional collaboration to drive growth while managing risk.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Pharmaceutical Sciences, Finance, Economics, Business Administration, Intellectual Property Management or a related field.
• Minimum of 5 years of professional pharmaceutical experience; minimum of 2 years of experience in product ideation, business development, market research or pipeline valuation within the US pharmaceutical industry with preference for generics.
• Strong analytical and quantitative skills, with the ability to interpret scientific and financial data.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and other relevant software.

Responsibilities

• Analyze potential product opportunities, including forecasting and financial modeling, market research, and due diligence.
• Conduct analyses of potential company and mature brand target acquisitions, monitoring overlap with Padagis pipeline and technology augmentation.
• Prepare thorough business cases at the product and company level.
• Maintain product details for ideal inorganic pipeline augmentation.
• Perform macro and product-level segment analyses in the pharma market to inform strategic investment decisions.
• Prepare detailed reports and presentations for senior management with insights and recommendations.
• Collaborate with SPBD and cross-functional teams to develop strategic plans for portfolio growth.
• Assess and manage risks associated with product opportunities in line with investment criteria.
• Stay informed on market trends, industry developments, and partner/CDMO activities.
• Coordinate with other functions on new project due diligence, R&D feasibility, legal updates, launch management and commercialization scenarios.
• Update portfolio information tools, reports and databases as new information becomes available.
