Job summary

Highmark Health is offering the Summer 2027 Population Health Analytics Graduate Internship to graduate students. You will work with large healthcare datasets, including claims and EMR data, to generate actionable insights for Highmark's Living Health strategy.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree required.
• Pursuing a graduate degree in Analytics, Data Science, Public Health, Healthcare Administration, Health Informatics, Statistics, Economics, Business Analytics, Epidemiology, or related field preferred.

Responsibilities

• Support day-to-day analytics activities and reporting.
• Analyze healthcare/population health data to develop insights and recommendations.
• Collaborate on strategic projects and initiatives across teams.
• Participate in data exploration, trend analysis, and performance measurement.
• Contribute to predictive insights and strategic research.
• Assist with communication of findings to stakeholders.
• Support projects to improve population health and value-based care initiatives.
