Texas Workforce Commission seeks a Policy, Planning & Evaluation Manager (Manager IV) to oversee the RESEA program's policy, planning and evaluation activities in Austin. Lead a skilled team, guide reports and dashboards, and translate complex data into executive insights.

You will collaborate across divisions, craft policy frameworks, and inform budget requests with rigorous analysis. Travel up to 15% within Texas is expected.

Qualifications

• Five years of full-time experience developing or interpreting policies and procedures.
• Experience leading administrative management or supervisory teams.
• Ability to translate complex statutes and regulations into actionable guidance.

Responsabilités

• Manage day-to-day activities of the RESEA policy, planning, research and evaluation team.
• Guide preparation of administrative reports, state plans and waiver requests.
• Oversee data analysis and reporting activities, including dashboards.
• Use program metrics to guide policy recommendations and communicate results.
• Develop short- and long-term project strategies and goals.
• Collaborate with divisions, universities and agencies on evaluation efforts.
• Brief executive management, Commissioners and Local Boards on policy issues.
• Evaluate program effectiveness and develop improvement plans.
