Job summary

Baltimore City Government, through the Mayor’s Office of Employment Development (MOED), seeks a Senior Policy and Program Analyst to analyze strategic issues for senior leadership and supervise MOED’s analytic team. You will lead data-driven work, guide staff, and shape recommendations for Baltimore City’s coordinated workforce system.

You will oversee quantitative/qualitative research, present insights to non-technical audiences, and support implementation of workforce development initiatives.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in data science, statistics, applied mathematics, computer science, or computer engineering.

Responsibilities

• Lead a team of evaluators who prepare analysis for action plans, program performance and evaluation reports.
• Inherit, improve, and expand MOED’s analytic stack to evaluate performance and foster growth.
• Provide consulting, expertise, and project management for strategic initiatives.
• Query and format databases to produce narrative reports and dashboards for performance evaluation.
• Translate programmatic needs into functional data collection systems.
• Perform related work as required.
