Job summary

The State of Delaware is seeking a Management Analyst II to support Medicaid rate setting, provider enrollment, and related regulatory compliance. The role involves analyzing operations, advising on policy implementation, and preparing narrative reports to inform decision making.

Qualifications

• Six months experience in conducting studies evaluating operations, programs, services, policies and procedures.
• Six months experience in descriptive statistics (mean, median, mode, standard deviation).
• Six months experience in interpreting laws, rules, regulations, standards, policies, procedures.
• Six months experience in narrative report writing.
• Knowledge of studying goals, data sources, sampling and collection methods.
• Knowledge of making recommendations based on findings and of inferential statistics (correlation, t-tests, ANOVA).

Responsibilities

• Interviews agency staff and observes work processes to gather data.
• Reviews and analyzes data to evaluate compliance with goals and objectives.
• Develops recommendations for changes to operations, programs or procedures.
• Documents findings and presents recommendations for new systems or organizational changes.
• May supervise administrative staff and coordinate with multiple departments.
